Hi All - First time poster, long time reader. Bought a 2023 4xE three weeks ago. Maybe 500 miles now. It had been perfect, no complaints.

Today, my car shut down on busy road during rush hour and stated “service transmission”. After a few minutes I was able to start it back up and decided to head towards a dealer. On the way it shut down two more times but made it after 100+ honks and a few middle finger salutes at me.

After arriving at the dealer, they claimed it has already received all the recall updates. Has anyone experienced this issue after receiving recalls? The dealer seems at a loss but said they’d call me tomorrow. Just glad I was in the car vs my wife.

I tried searching for this and couldn’t find any forums for post recall fix getting same error. I only wish I had taken a pic but the rush hour stress got to me.

We've got about ten times as many miles on our '23 Wrangler and no such event has occurred for us. Could be you're unfortunate and got a bad trans. Have you noticed any leaks? Do you know what codes were present?

Appreciate the response.

Great to hear. Hoping something small, but is what it is. Dealer said they will look at it tomorrow. I have not seen any leaks nor did I notice any codes. I’ll report back when I find out more.

From dealer: “Hello Ryan. I have a technician looking at your vehicle and found a strange code on the TCM he wanted me to ask how often is the vehicle charged?”

I charge it nightly…

They are still trying to figure out the problem. I take it nobody else has experienced similar post recall updates. Will continue to follow up in case there is some help to someone down the road.
