Hello All,

2021 Rubicon 4xe 13,000 miles no issues until Friday 9/30 - Morning
Service Charging System error - Vehicle charged to 100%
Disconnected Grizzle Charger and Reconnected No error message.
Drove to work 13 miles no issues and on way home error came up Aux Switches not available battery charging. On the dash 12 V battey indicated 14.2 volts for the first few minutes but quickly dropped to 9.5 volts.
Made it to destination - Plugged in vehicle and charged with no issues.
Tested the voltage on the battery 1fluctuating between 10V to 12V no consistency.

Decided to remove battery and place on trickle charger overnight - Charged to 13.5 v and trickle charger shut off to maintain.
With battery removed purchased a new battery and installed - All errors and warnings disappeared When vehicle on Voltage remains at 14.2 - 14.6 on dashboard.

Anyone have any idea what could of caused this Mopar battery to die so suddenly ?

Thanks for the help.

Alberto

Just got a bunch of lights and error messages while driving at a leisurely 30mph - car hasn’t even been offroad yet!

Chances it’s the stupid battery and I should just getthe Odyssey mentioned above? Should I even bother checking the current battery charge/output?

PS: decided to buy the battery anyway and will replace just as a precautionary measure
