I have a 2022 Rubicon 4xe 12v battery under the hood dies, been having this issue for 6 weeks..
Now i have 2 major issues and the dealerhip is of no help..
Took my jeep to the dealership they replaced the battery as they said there is an issue while there they
inspected and reprogrammed the battery back control modiule BPCM
routine to disable/enab battery control pack module -witech
inspect and reprogram module, integrated dual charging IDCM
My amp reserch xtreme power steps no longer work
Battery dead when i picked it up at the dealship dealsership claims that the amp research are connected to the battery and kill the battery over nite along with the popmotorz switch back fender lights.
Per the dealership the dealership there should be nothing to the 4xe jeeps aftermarket, as they products create a draw and the battery and killed it....Hmmm can you tell me what the draw was when the mechanic put a meter on it to confirm the draw? he didnt this is what he cam up with...Needless to say i am done with the dealership and jeep is getting a bad name... i did inform the sales guy the 2023 GC4xee we were discussing isnt happening due to service... The service manager can you confrim the steps worked before the vehicle came in yep... pull the video of me pulling in the bay you see the steps are working, he says they are not responsible for any after market products and they only support OEM as they are provn to be the best products... Jeep lost a sale to GM over this deal...
I am going to order a new control module for the amp power steps as i am expecting they put a power surge thru the system repromgramming this is why the steps do not work. If anyone has thoughts please let me know
