Hi

Thinking of going from 33” tires to 35s. For those who have done so, what has been the impact to your electric mileage range? I am currently getting 24-26 all electric miles on the stock 33s.

thanks

not one yet for the 4xe. what you like to buy..a/t r/t m/t..more in wide or pizza cutters. bigger tire ..size and weight will change your range mpg and speed. maybe you get hard times to get in the 8th gear.
if you start things is like lava , it will not stop at one point.

When you make the change, you will also want to account for the tire size in the MPG. If you don't have that changed in the ecm, it will give you a falsely low MPG. I put 35" on my 2018 JLUR and still used 8th gear. When I went to 37", 8th gear was a bit more elusive. The dealer can flash the ECM for you or you can install a tazer mini (Tazer JL Mini – Z Automotive). Due to the warranty, you might have the dealer do this for you.

Which tires are you looking at? I'm getting the lift installed this week and need to pick the tires. I used Nitto Ridge Grapplers before (great on road noise and rock crawling) but i'm interested in hearing what others are going to do.

Thanks, I put 35's on my JK so I know all about the impact not he speedo and odom. I'm really just curious about the impact to the electric range. I will likely just go with larger KO2's or maybe Mickey Thompson ATZ P3's

I put 35” Nitto Ridge Grappler on my Rubicon. I am getting 22-24 miles on a charge and about 19-20mpg in hybrid. Lost maybe 1 mile and 1mpg with the lift (2.5”) and increase in tires. View attachment 1032
This is likely the most important reply on this post! You gotta tell us how you did it…

What kind of lift, Mopar?
How much do your new wheels weigh?
Did you have the dealership fix your Jeep’s comp so it can give you an accurate MPG?
Any new shocks or coils etc that helped you achieve such a small decline in mileage?

THANK YOU!!!

hey! Saw your face floating around the forum and thought I’d rekindle this thread—

Did you ever upgrade your tires etc? Do you have any pics?

I still haven’t made any modifications to mine and been seriously thinking about getting better tires and a lift. I’m driving a Sahara, so it’s not as fancy as a Rubi.
