Just moved into a new house that has a Tesla wall charger. Our vehicles are currently being shipped to our new house. Does anyone know if you are able to charge the 4xe using the Tesla charger? I've read that you need to buy an adapter. I haven't read anywhere that you can connect directly from Tesla charger to 4xe. I ask because when we bought the 4xe, the sales manager told us that you could charge directly into a Tesla wall charger. Nothing was mentioned of an adaptor.

Did you have success charging the 4XE with Tesla in house? I have the same set-up and need to know if anything special to set or change. Thanks.

I have 2 Tesla Wall Connectors on a single 100A circuit that auto balances between the 2 connectors and I charge our Teslas at the same time as the 4xe all the time using a TeslaTap adapter for the Jeep.

Do you know the setting on your DIP and rotary switches for 4xe? DIP assuming line-line. Rotary #9 or 48amp? Beyond that sounds like plug and go.

I'm getting the following error on Tesla Wall Connector: A communication error occurred between the Wall Connector and the vehicle. Try again by disconnecting the Wall Connector from the vehicle and reconnecting. If possible, plug the vehicle into another Wall Connector or a Mobile Connector to determine if the vehicle is able to communicate with other charging equipment.

Any ideas how to resolve? I am using this Amazon.com : b0b3d78q3z
