Any way to turn down the volume of alerts to cameras at intersection?

It can be accessed two ways, but the simplest is to go thru the pre-installed Tom Tom navigation settings and look for Sounds and Alerts.

What @Clutch Auto Deals says is not the entire truth. While the volume may indeed lower, there's no guarantee it will not return at the same volume when you restart the car. On my 4xe, there is no memory for Android Auto sound volume and only in mid-2023 it started having music volume memory. Other beeping sounds like proximity parking sensors have their own volume settings.

Ok, f1anatic was also correct! Although volume knob worked, Jeep is not smart enough to remember.

today, it startled me again!!!

so, best solution is to never shut off the car after such adjustment! :p
Like I said, go into the map menu, settings, sounds & alerts and your will have the option to disable them permanently.

As for an overall observation, I am starting to see a pattern, confirmed somewhat by the dealership with which I am developing a relationship (good or bad TBD) which indicated that fixes are in for the connected services issues, and that a firmware update for the tachometer is not available on my Trailhawk but it is for Summits.
  • Trailhawks don't seem to have as many tire pressure sensor problems, unlike Summits
  • Trailhawks do not get the software upgrade that gets you a tachometer, unlike say a Summit Reserve
  • Trailhawks have the front sway bar disconnect issues (unlike Wranglers) and a disproportionate chunk of the suspension noises, clunks, etc. complaints unlike the upper trims.
  • Base trims do not seem to have issues with the UConnect volume and other connected services complaints.
  • Everyone seems to get the Electric Heater gremlins
