I'm amazed that that actually worked. I guess it means that the UConnect software actually DOES maintain a volume setting for this alert, but just doesn't bother giving you any way to set it in the menus, but only while the alert is actually happening. What a mind-bogglingly stupid design oversight! Anyway, thanks for letting us know. The powers that be at Jeep obviously have zero interest in fixing such oversights, so we apparently have to find workarounds like these to live with them.
