Looks like hurricane Ida is going to crash through that area like a ton of bricks, I hope everyone there stays safe and all goes well. I got my Jeep from them a couple months ago and know they were moving a lot of orders through there, hope it doesn’t impact anyone.

Yup I did. My Jeep is supposed to arrive on September 2. I hope the train is in a holding pattern somewhere far away. 🤞. I hope everyone down there evacuated and is staying safe. 🙏

Ordered my leased Sahara 4XE through Mark Dodge in Lake Charles (using Clutch Auto Group) on 8/14. They've been great to deal with, so far.

@S2kChris, you've already taken delivery of your 4XE from Mark Dodge? How did it work out? Did they pretty much stick to the lease deal you originally worked out with them? How did shipping go? How much did it end up costing you to have it shipped up to IL? Any issues? I'm out in Elgin. JeepChat just told me yesterday that my 4XE is in the "TRIM" stage. No idea how long it will be from that point on, but I cannot wait to finally take delivery!

I took delivery in mid-July. Everything went just fine. There was a little confusion because I thought I was rolling in taxes into my lease not paying up front but it was no biggie. Also, I’m dumb, I didn’t understand that they file my paperwork for license plates for me; I went to the DMV and they thought I was an idiot; a call to Mark Dodge cleared it all up (just got my plates btw). Shipping was about $800 if I remember correctly; super easy, I tracked the truck the whole way with the Sirius App

I just took delivery of my Rubicon on Monday from Mark Dodge. They don’t have any sort of shipping connections. They use a third party service, you tell them how much you are willing to pay and they post the job on the service. I called Mark Dodge everyday to up the price. About 3 days and nothing. Then I contacted Abe at Clutch Auto and he gave me a recommendation. I called that guy, he gave me a price and in a few minutes I had a contract. They picked it up the next day (which was Saturday) and delivered it Monday morning. I paid $100 over the phone to secure the contract and paid the driver the balance in cash. He called me Sunday afternoon to let me know about what time he’d be to my house. I’m in Cambridge,WI and paid $1100. Totally worth it.

I have door to door transport working to try get the shipping where they think it should be for me. Abe’s contact told me 1050, not the 800 we had estimated when I ordered the vehicle. I don’t need the car, but I’d like to have it. I can wait a few days if it saves me a few hundred. We’ll see how long it ends up being.

I ordered mine through Clutch who placed the order with Mark Dodge in Louisiana. Placed my custom order on 9/28…car was shipped on 10/28… arrived on the lot on 11/3. Having it shipped across the country in a few days and I CANNOT WAIT to see him IRL (yes, yes…I know, but I’m the only male in my household and I need to balance the fem-dom energy somehow).

That's awesome! I ordered mine around that time as well, same with clutch and Mark Dodge in Louisiana. Did you finalize the numbers already? Are you leasing or buying? I'm anxiously waiting for mine, but also interested to see if my final lease price is too off from the initial estimate by Clutch. (And I know the feeling, I'm outnumbered as the only male in the house as well).

🤌🏽 Gotta love it! I finalized everything today: signed the paperwork, submitted the wire, and am awaiting a shipping quote for my delivery. Numbers were nearly spot on from what CLUTCH! provided during our initial chat.

I’m leading 36mo/10K. I opted for Chrysler’s OnePay option so my money factor was a very nice 0.00063. The only surprise was an additional $350 processing fee that the dealership has decided to collect. The lease is still too good not to secure, even with the unexpected fee. This is the first Gen 4xe, so I’m not going to saddle myself with a purchase while we ride through the learning phase. By the time my lease is up, gen 2 or 3 will be ready for purchase.

Other than the one processing fee, the numbers are as expected, the process was smooth, and overall experience has been great! It’s nerve-racking leasing a vehicle that I haven’t seen in person, touched, or sat in, but until the vulture Jeep dealers in CA turn their sh!t around, I’m putting my faith in Clutch and the crew down in Louisiana.

one thing I did find strange (and am still investigating) is the odometer reading they put on the lease. Apparently they need to charge the battery twice and drive it for a certain amount of time to “initiate the airbags and warranty”. Honestly the most Sus thing I’ve ever heard, but again… “In Clutch we Trust”.

Thanks for sharing that, I'll be on the lookout for those things. I'm hoping there won't be any major surprises. I'm new to Jeep, new to leasing, and first time buying a vehicle without test driving or even sitting in it. So much faith put in on these reviews, comments, and recommendations by the internet strangers.

I'm curious, what was your odometer reading? Mine said 11 miles. I too ordered through Clutch and leased through Mark Dodge. Signed everything while on vacation last week, and can't wait to finally see this!!! Glad I'm not the only one who purchased totally sight unseen.

Using Clutch's shipping contact to transport from LA to NC. Supposed to pick up today and deliver on Wednesday. $700. I thought that was a very fair price.

I think mine was around 11 as well. Used Clutch, Mark Dodge and shipped with Abe’s recommendation.

I'll add one thing that I learned today... If using your own transport company, be sure you know your dealer's hours, and let your transporter know those hours. My transporter called today, to let me know they will be picking up tonight at 7:30, only to later find out that my dealership closes at 6pm. I wrongfully assumed that the driver communicated that to the dealer as well, but I was wrong. Luckily they were able to sort things out and reschedule for tomorrow. Guess I got lucky this time!

Spenbro - which shipping company did you use? I'll need to get mine shipped to SC. $700 doesn't seem so bad. Also when did you put your Jeep order in? Trying to get an idea how far behind mine is.
