Anyone have a noise like this come from their 4xe?

Recently with the heat, I’ve been periodically hearing a weird noise emanating from right in front of the driver under the hood. This only arises when running ICE solo and sounds like a dying cat crawled under the hood. Typically only happening at highway speeds, and especially when driving on an incline. Curious thoughts or similar experiences.

I dont know, it almost sounds like its airflow of some sort, since you only hear it with the ICE, maybe check to make sure your air filter cover is secure or something. It sounds to me like an air draw somewhere.

Does it change with engine speed and engine load?

Yes, if I take my foot off the accelerator or increase throttle it goes away briefly. It’s usually at cruising. Never at first acceleration from stop

So update - answer was an issue in air suspension. System failed this morning and is being serviced now but seems there was an issue in the lines which was leaking causing the whistle. Seals blew overnight.

Anyone have a noise like this come from their 4xe?
