I was wondering if there was any technology that can take advantage of the OEM back camera (and for those who have front camera) to act as Dash cam and record rather than having to purchase separate dash cam to record.

If no, what dash cams are you using for front and rear?

I think the Bronco may be able to do that but no options for us. The Uconnect system and camera is about as basic as it gets.

I was looking at those rearview mirror cams. The look really neat and can provide a better rear view. But I want one that can do an eternal camera in the grill, like on the trail cam. That would make for a tremendous parking aid.

Those closest I could find was one mirror that had a detached front camera but it was interior only. We would probably need that given the radar housing behind the mirror.
