Can't get Overland GC 4XE charge Scheduler to work

I've set the scheduler both on the head unit and the app to "not charge" until 11 PM through 7:00 AM every day of the week. Head unit screen acknowledges that scheduled time on schedule one. Android mobile app acknowledges the same. Schedule two has the same times input as well, but is not active (unchecked on the head unit screen). (see attached pics).
My Type 2 charger is a Tesla J1772 Wall Connecter charger, hard wired to a 240 volt 30 Amp circuit. The Tesla is not smart except for allowing the programming of the circuit output. Mine is set for my 30 Amp capable configuration which allows an output at 240 volt, 23 Amps max. It works great, by the way.

Having said that, when ever I plug the Tesla connecter in, it immediately starts charging, totally ignoring the Overland's scheduler. And "NO", I did not do a double connector insert, which the manual says will override the onboard scheduler. And regarding the second pic sent, I did choose "Charge Later".
Also for the record, I did check all of the Overland's fuses front and rear to make sure all were completely seated. The vehicle has been outstanding overall, with this minor exception.
Obviously I would welcome any other suggestions.

Have you tested the scheduler with the 120V charger that came with the vehicle? I use IOS and I have not programmed any schedule functions in the app, only the car. I doubt your Jeep is different than mine, but the circumstances of use are different. Swap in the slow charger and delete your Andriod schedule and see what happens. Hopefully it will work. If not I am clueless to offer any suggestions.

Maybe I am misunderstanding how the android app works. Does it show you the schedule on the Jeep or does it have an independent scheduler? I don't believe the IOS app gives you any scheduling information.

I will check right after I post. - I actually checked before I posted and found a page I never saw before - thanks for the tip. Another potential difference between our experiences is that I didn't edit my scheduler with the app, but from the car itself.

I will try the 120 volt charger. A reasonable idea. The Tesla charger could be the culprit. Thanks. Regarding the scheduler, all schedules were set via the vehicle's head unit/uconnect display screen. The android mobile app was not used to program the scheduler and only mimics/repeats what the vehicle scheduler shows.
I had issues with my iPhone being on European time (military time) and the Jeep app using regular time. As a result I can only set schedules in the car

I have the same issue with my Tesla charger it totally ignores the schedule time set by the vehicle.
what I do I have to unplug the charger a few times and it will stick with the schedule time set. Or with the j1772 plugged into your Jeep there us a little button on the plug keep pressing it. It will reset the Tesla charger to remember there is a scheduled charge set. It’s kinda annoying but it works. Mind you the Tesla charger works great with that little exception. Hope this helps.
A follow up to the above. I did try the Type 1, 110 volt charger unit (Paul 92688) that came with the vehicle and the vehicle scheduler worked correctly. Reached out to Tesla and they did some online testing looking for errors from my installed j1772 and said everything regarding their connector was fine and to spec, no error messages. Tesla said to reach out to Jeep for additional help. Ruling out the Tesla, I also tried the plug and unplug scenario suggested above by Bonezbag 1, and that worked. Annoying, just like he said, but works. Plugging and unplugging gets the scheduler's attention so to speak. Usually takes three or four plug and unplugs to get the scheduler to wake up and take notice. Also reached out to Jeep Connect yesterday, explained the issue, and they referred me to my dealer. Scheduling the Overland for this charge scheduler issue and a "something loose/ rattling" noise coming from the right side underbody.
Otherwise, the Overland 4XE is terrific. Everything we expected.

Knock on wood, but I have had a fair amount of luck with my level 1 Jeep branded charger. I just received a Wallbox charger and am getting it installed in a week. I am wondering what demons will be awakened by this change. On these message boards you hear complaints disproportionately to success. If it works - no post. If it doesn't - post. Hopefully I will have no issues as when I work consecutive days I don't have enough charge time to leave for work the following day with a full charge. I wait until 9PM to start charging because the price drops from $.55./KWH to $.22/KWH. Believe it or not, that is the preferred electric vehicle incentive plan winter rate, next month it goes to .64 peak and .24 for the non-peak time of day...

I discover something recently whenever you plug the Tesla charger into the GC it will wake the infotainment system you would see charge now or charge later. Select charge later and then the schedule will take effect. It worked for me.

If your new Wallbox is a Type 2, 240 volt charger, you will not be disappointed. My Type 1, 120 volt 20 amp takes twelve to thirteen hours to charge a fully spent battery. My Tesla Type 2, 240 volt 30 amp completes a full charge in two and one half to three hours max. Love it. And reading Bonesbag1's response below, it sounds like my issue is resolved. Which is to watch the head unit/infotainment center screen and choose charge later.

Great! Thanks. Sounds like a solution and will try.
I've not been successful at getting the scheduler to work with mine. We have off-peak rates for the nights and weekends which are fantastic, so I've tried on numerous occasions to set the vehicle to charge only after 7pm during the week or anytime on the weekends. It will work for a few days, then begin ignoring the schedule. And when I say work, I mean ONLY if I plug in PRIOR to the scheduled start time. For example, if I have the schedule set to 7pm, charge until full, if I plug in after 7pm, the damn thing will not charge at all. If I plug in prior to 7pm, it will go into "wait mode" and begin charging at 7pm. For the weekend component, I set 12am for both Saturday and Sunday, then charge to completion. If the vehicle is not plugged-in when 12am arrives, it will not charge that day. Again, this is only successful for a few days, at which point it goes into "ignore schedule" mode.

I've tried setting an end-time (instead of choosing the "charge until full" option), and in those instances the Jeep ignores the schedule altogether and begins charging whenever it is plugged-in...

Love to meet the individual that wrote this scheduling software.

Hoping for a future update and more than two options for schedules. On my Volt I can enter as many Peak and Off-Peak windows necessary.

EDIT: pressing the "Charge Now" or "Charge Later" option does absolutely nothing.

I too am still having issues with the JEEP 4XE, Stellantis on-board charging scheduler.

I have had some success getting the scheduler to work properly, thanks Bonezbag1, but the FCA/Stellantis software program, leaves much to be desired. Should be a no brainer. Enter the schedule in the head unit and done. No more/other customer/owner input required. Love the vehicle otherwise . . . and am willing to pursue the correct solution, which I believe looks more and more like a Corporate problem. Too be continued . . .
