Since I bought my jeep off the lot last minute, one option that was missing is the steel bumpers. Swapped out the front plastic unit for a Carnivor steel unit from quadratech. This is the full lengh version. They make a mid sized and stubby as well. Install was easy, the hardest part being the removal of the old bumper (not hard just a million screws and clips). The Canivor bumper has way easier access for bolts/lights/wiring. I added cube lights on the bull bar and behind the mesh on each end.

Waiting on an order to finish up the wiring. Also removed the cheepo quadratech badge. Might also install a splash guard. Other mods are a stubby antena, side steps for the wife and kids and bullet valve stem caps that no one will ever notive but me . I will enventually install a winch. I have some d-rings but I am waiting on some isolators to stop them from boucing all over the place.

Post is little old but curious how you are still feeling about the carnivore bumper. Looking to buy this exact bumper also on grey 4xe. Curious if you can post a pic looking down at it where winch would be. Also considering no winch but thought they don’t haVe a cover plate and wondered if it would look odd so winch. Thanks. Good look though. Liking the idea even more seeing your pic

Don't regret my choice. Haven't put a winch yet. its on the list. Not a big deal but the finsh on the screws for the grill covers have striped away after one winter, they are now silver. There seems to be plenty of room for a winch and everything is super heavy duty. I did notice the extra weight up front but that will apply to all steel bumpers. Probably going to switch out the cube lights for a light bar.

My only complaint would be that the location of the OEM fog lights is centered and they are really recessed so it makes for a more narrow light patern.

Sweet! I just ordered the Carnivore rear bumper from QT (but went with a Reaper stubby for the front)
