I’ve noticed something I haven’t seen mentioned.

There are 5 charging lights, and we all know that:

1 light = 0-20% charge
2 lights (1 solid, 1 blinking) = 20-40% charge
3 lights (2 solid, 1 blinking) = 40-60% charge
4 lights (3 solid, 1 blinking) = 60-80% charge
5 lights (4 solid, 1 blinking) = 80-99% charge

but I’ve noticed variation in the speed of the blinking light. There appear to be 2 speeds. The first 10% of each light will blink slowly, while the 2nd 10% will blink quickly. Like this:

1 light / blinking slowly: 0-10%
1 light / blinking quickly: 10-20%
2 lights (1 solid, 1 blinking slowly): 20-30% charge
2 lights (1 solid, 1 blinking quickly): 30-40%
3 lights (2 solid, 1 blinking slowly): 40-50%
3 lights (2 solid, 1 blinking quickly): 50-60%
4 lights (3 solid, 1 blinking slowly): 60-70% charge
4 lights (3 solid, 1 blinking quickly): 70-80%
5 lights (4 solid, 1 blinking slowly): 80-90%
5 lights (4 solid, 1 blinking quickly): 90-99%
5 solid lights: 100%

So now when you’re peering out at your charge level you can better approximate your state of charge.

Maybe this was common knowledge and I missed it, I checked and it’s not in the Jeep videos about charging status.
