Hi I am from Australia, I was supposed to pick my GC4xe up tomorrow brand new..dealer rang said cannot deliver due to this fault.
Could be up to 8 weeks here before it gets fixed!!
I really want this to be a good reliable car.. but are having many doubts.

 

Thank your lucky stars you dodged a bullet. Cancel that sale ASAP. The GC 4xe is definitely not reliable - I absolutely do not recommend. Mine has been at the dealership for over 3 months now due to the B273C hybrid system error (caused by the NHTSA 95B high voltage battery recall so called “fix”) - there’s no available fix or timeline for when it will become available.

Pretty sure my VIN will also come up as part of this new recall for the faulty power train unit (NHTSA 73C) when that info is released Thursday.

Completely laughable that Jeep recall team has started sending out $100 Mastercards as a show of appreciation - what a tiny drop in a bucket for the $90k vehicle I paid for which is now just an overpriced lawn decoration for a local dealership….

You’re welcome! I’ve been a loyal Jeep consumer for years but given my current situation and even worse experience dealing with Jeep Customer Care/ Case Management, find another brand that actually cares about its customers and prioritizes manufacturing quality.

I have owned five grand cherokees. I still own my 2017 trailhawk as well a my 2023 trailhawk. I'll NEVER buy another Jeep vehicle again afterthis disaster for a 2023 and the fact that Jeep will not stand behind it and fix it. RUN AWAY from the brand.
