So now that you guys have fixed my FORM issue, here’s another related question.
As Shakes had mentioned you need to get rid of the gas that has found it’s way into the oil, this is a normal process of gasoline engines. My question is this a computer generated request or a sensor that has detected too much gas in the oil…

I believe it's nothing more than a timer. The engineers know what to estimate without overcomplicating the system.

It would probably still call for this even if you haven't run the engine as water can also accumulate.
