It’s on your windows sticker, 20mpg I believe
Excellent. Better than I hoped. I wonder what the difference would be on reg gas.Just this weekend, 24 mpg on 600 mile highway drive, avg. 75 mph. Running 91 Premium.
Believe me, you DON'T want to ask that question here.... 😄Excellent. Better than I hoped. I wonder what the difference would be on reg gas.

IF you are travling to a destination you can charge or you are travling with no intention of using EV range right away or at all, just travel in Hybrid without switching to Esave. I'm still doing some trips testing range but rolling with just hybrid yields a 450+ mile range travling between 60 and 70mph with mixed elevation change.I traded in a v6 Grand Cherokee 2wd from 2017 in for my 4xe. I was getting about the same milage on the highway in that as I am using the hybrid in esave mode. Smaller gas tank is a bummer in the 4xe. I wonder what the economy and performance would be if they made the vehicle with a hybrid adapted v6.

My work commute is 30 miles each way plus a handful of miles for my lunch break. If I keep it in hybrid mode the whole time, I run out of battery before I get home where the last few miles are on city streets. What I have been playing with is using hybrid mode to the highway, esave at 60 plus speeds but change into hybrid when hitting stop and go rush hour traffic. my Goal is to be out of juice when I arrive home, but not before. I have fueled up once and achieved an overall economy of 35.7 mpg calculated with the actual miles traveled and gas used. Not bad, but on a longer ride which I have not yet done, I am certain the economy will suffer as my mileage is clearly not so great in esave mode. I do not try to charge the battery in esave mode. I will see how the economy is just keeping it in hybrid mode only. I have not even had the vehicle a month as of yet so there is a bit of experimentation to be done.IF you are travling to a destination you can charge or you are travling with no intention of using EV range right away or at all, just travel in Hybrid without switching to Esave. It will be very similar to e-save hold, but not e-save charge. My assumption is that hybrid mode with no remaining battery percent reported should be very similar to esave mode.
Hwy 24MPG in hybrid mode. 45mpg around town. Right now I’m at 756 miles and still at a 1/4 tank. All,
I have a 2023 Wrangler Sahara 4xe since September and my wife and I really like the car. We use it mostly for short trips so mostly electric. It took some time to educate myself about how this car works and how to get the most out of it and avoiding FORM. After that process, have really grown to like the 4xe a lot. So far, no issues. The only thing I would change is a little bigger battery- 20 miles is a little short.
I am thinking of getting a Grand Cherokee maybe in the fall. Another 4xe. I have had 3 grand Cherokees over the years so this would be an easy step for me.
Question; on the Highway, running ICE all the time (hybrid mode with battery <1%) what real life mpg can be expected at normal highway speeds, 60-65? I am curious as this would be a road trip car and the pure electric feature I use all the time on the wrangler would not be as big a factor.
cheers,
john
Stupid question, but why....Or any auto forum.
Because you can run 87 in these vehicles with no problem as well as 91 with no problem. So the reason to choose one or the other is not 100% certain, and a subject of debate, often hostile debate because those who want to save money on 87 seem to be very concerned with feeling good about their decision and don’t want anyone to challenge their logic on it. See what I did there….Stupid question, but why....
Thanks! Was worried that there was some established data showing it would ruin my vehicle....Because you can run 87 in these vehicles with no problem as well as 91 with no problem.
