Charge indicator lights on the dashboard are neat but I was hoping for something more noticeable.

I think it'll be fine if you're charging at home in a garage but I can see it being hard to see if you're waiting at a charging station.

A charge indicator in the headlight setup like the electric Hummer would have been cool.

That would be pretty cool. I don't know how they'd pull it off with the Jeep's round headlights. Maybe have the charge indicator go around the light?

Yes, it can't be that hard either to implement.
Maybe just a lighting module hooked up to the ECU?
As an owner of two EVs (including Chrysler's Pacifica PHEV), the ONE charging feature I'd like to see more than anything is a simple light at the charge port that helps you see what you're doing as you try to plug in your vehicle. Guiding the EVSE into the port at night in the dark is difficult and has the potential for damaging something.

I had a Volt , now a Tesla and just leased a 4XE (I don't have the 4XE yet) - I haven't run into that issue yet, but it makes sense - the one thing the Volt and actually the Tesla does really really well is tell you in the app how charged up you are. GMs app was slow, just like Uconnect is slow for our 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee... Does the Uconnect app not tell you State of Charge (SOC)?

The UConnect app does let you know the state of charge and other good information. I will attach a photo for reference.

here is the status page in UConnect.
But that info usually has to be manually refreshed. How bad is the delay?

It did not take that long. Since it is through Sirius Guardian it works over the cell phone connection. Mine probably took 2min.

My UConnect is FINALLY showing vehicle information 2 weeks after driving it off the lot. I am so excited!
