I’ve been using it for almost a year without issues. I don’t have the extension cord but I’m sure won’t be a problem given it’s made for it. No issue on the amps either, the Jeep will only take in 32.any one have an experience with the above level 2 charger? any issue with it being too many amps as it is 40 amp not 32?

if the jeep only takes 32 amps do you set the charger down to 32 amps somehow? will 40 amps hurt the batter?I’ve been using it for almost a year without issues. I didn’t change anything as the Jeep will throttle the power going in. Can just leave the charger how it comes.if the jeep only takes 32 amps do you set the charger down to 32 amps somehow? will 40 amps hurt the batter?
what portable level 2 charger do you suggest?Lectrons are hit or miss. Some people never have a problem. Some have major overheating issues. They don't have ul listings (which means many insurance companies won't cover fires caused by them) and some of their product have design issues... like the amperage they draw is too high for the outlets they have plugs for.
With quality, ul rated units with a much better feature set being close to the same price, I can't fathom choosing a lectron.
I am looking for portableAnother quality unit to consider is the Autel Maxicharger. Goes on sale often on Amazon. UL Listed. WiFi compatible, has a nice app for your smartphone which lets you adj amperage, see charging stats, how much each charge costs, etc.
