What’s the point of a recall if they still have no fix?
It is a legal requirement that notice of the recall goes out as soon as it is identified as a recall. It would be illegal for them to know there is a recall but withhold informing people about it until a remedy is identified.

Well- our day of reckoning may be on the horizon. perhaps this is why Jeep was refusing all BuyBacks last few months, as they probably knew it was coming.
Stellantis recalls 92,000 Jeeps over power defect sparking sudden crash fears | The US Sun

VINs are searchable this Thursday to see if you are one of the 91k.

Good luck to all.
I had this issue happen when I drove home last night, I was on the highway traveling at around 70 mph. lost power to propel. switched from hybrid to gas only. that did not help, my brakes were also not responding normally, I pulled to the median side of the highway. I need to call JEEP dealer today. Im glad I had a runway on the side of the highway to slowdown.

I couldn't find it on NHTSA site, but as I was trying to check my vin thru my app... but then I saw it showing up in my app!

The HV battery recall never reached my app, but this thing certainly did show up!

So I guess my GC is part of the 91k!

Description is scary:

A BPCM reset which is incorrectly interpreted by the HCP may cause a loss of propulsion. An unexpected loss of propulsion can cause a vehicle crash without prior warning!

(Remedy currently not available)

How wonderful...

Sounds like a software issue? Just teach the darn BPCM/HCP to behave and interpret things correctly and then everything will be fine! :p
