Noise rear right wheel well when parked

Can’t find any threads about this. Parked the Jeep around 5:00 then installed a new rear 3rd light. Went out at 11 because i realized I forgot to plug it in in my excitement for new mod installation and there was a humming/buzzing sound from right rear wheel well. Turned the vehicle on/off and it went away. Was clearly off before I power cycled it.

Anyone else notice this?

I noticed this once before as well, my only guess was pressurization of the fuel tank as that’s the only thing near there I could trace out, in my case the vehicle was off as well.
I wonder if they do this if you have the proximity key and it is getting everything ready like the above poster said? I feel like my '18 JL would make noises if I got close or opened the driver side door after it was sitting for a bit.
I have noticed the same sound at two different times and days… I haven’t been able to find anything on this noise.
Just noticed same thing. In garage, has been off for about 5 hours and making humming/ buzzing coming from right rear wheel well. Did anyone figure this out? Any ideas. No key around.

Went back out 20 minutes later to check on it and it had stopped.
I crawled under my Jeep when I heard a noise coming from the passenger side rear. Turned out to be a bad battery coolant circulation pump. Mine was more of a high pitched squeal and only heard it when plugged in and charging. Got replaced yesterday. All quiet now.

I heard a low hiss one time. Had been parked for a few hrs, not charging, let the dogs out and heard a really low hiss or like a small low motor sound.. Only went on for a few seconds and then was gone. No key on me.
Just had this happen to me, went into garage, Jeep has been parked for several hours not plugged in, no keys on me, heard the buzzing sound loudest in the rear passenger wheel well. Had the Jeep for over a year and never witnessed this before. Went and got the keys, started the Jeep and I heard it stop as it was powering up. Everything was normal after that. So weird.

Curious. What's your fuel level?
I work out in my garage alot and have heard the random buzzing in the right rear corner from time to time when the 4xe has been parked for hours.
Not sure if it is related, but I seem to hear it more frequently when the gas tank is only 1/4 full.
Was thinking maybe it's a fuel tank pressurization pump?

I'm at almost a full tank, I think I have about 40 miles of ICE running on this tank. I thought it was weird, at almost a year of ownership I never noticed that before.

Noticed this noise at the right rear wheel for a year when got my new 4xe. Only when the car is plugged in and charging overnight. This noise is gone itself after a moment. Searched online and it seems like it's pretty normal for EVs, it would be the battery ventilation system working. So I just ignored it. Lol
Had the exact same thing happening today for my Jeep. It was parked in the garage for several hours, and I noticed there was a humming noise from the rear right of the Jeep. Start and stop the vehicle and the noise is gone.
I just found mine doing the same thing is the garage. Sounds like a small air compressor can hear it in the back passenger quarter panel inside and out.

Seems like the fuel tank pressurization pump is likely but it would just be nice to know for sure.
Anyone ever find out for sure? I’ve started hearing this on my car. Seems like it happens mostly after driving and parking and turning off the car. And it happens whether I’m charging or not.
Just noticed it on my vehicle. It was plugged in, but continued when I unplugged it. I plugged back in and went to search online forums to see if I could find what the noise is. I went back out to try turning the Jeep on and off to test it, but the humming had already stopped. Really curious what the source is.
To my understanding it's something to do with the pressurized fuel system.
Yeah I don’t think it’s anything strange or bad. My BMW X5 PHEV made very similar noises. Not always as loud, but very similar nonetheless.
I just had the same thing happen. Parked in my garage and not plugged in and the back right side was buzzing. Started and turned off and it stoped. Has anyone heard what is the cause of this? Is it anything to be concerned on?
