Mines doing it now too... wish we had answers!!I just had the same thing happen. Parked in my garage and not plugged in and the back right side was buzzing. Started and turned off and it stoped. Has anyone heard what is the cause of this? Is it anything to be concerned on?

This is the only discussion I’ve found on this. Can’t find any threads about this. Parked the Jeep around 5:00 then installed a new rear 3rd light. Went out at 11 because i realized I forgot to plug it in in my excitement for new mod installation and there was a humming/buzzing sound from right rear wheel well. Turned the vehicle on/off and it went away. Was clearly off before I power cycled it.
Anyone else notice this?
2002 - 2006 there is an emission EVAP canister behind the wheel well. I think the pressure in tank builds up and is venting out of the canister. Took me awhile to find it in the Haynes repair manual. I’m still looking for more information. 🤓This is the only discussion I’ve found on this.
I have a 2006 Wrangler Unlimited. I thought maybe it was the fuel pump but you don’t really hear the pump when you turn on the key. It seems to stop when I loosen the gas cap and relieve the pressure from the tank.
I’m now going to research to see what actually pressurized the the tank or if there is some sort of relief valve that maybe release in pressure. Currently I’m in a higher elevation than normal so may be contributing.🤷♂️
