Anyone else having issues with satellite radio signal being weak? Multiple times while driving we have lost satellite signal, normally in areas where there are trees on both sides. We have never had issues with our other vehicles in these areas.

Yes, seems to be a Wrangler thing in general. Some people relocate the antenna from what I recall.

I've had Sirius XM for years and never had cutouts that were not reasonable, such as being in a tunnel or garage.

Also, the Sirius radio sounds terrible too in this system. Like just bad. I though the sound system was just bad, until I used Spotify.

My prior Ford Sync system Sirius was passable.

This is such a bummer to hear. My Optima drops satellite radio signal in the same few places every time I drive through them (no trees or overpasses around). I had zero issues in those same areas (or any other areas) in my prior vehicle. I was looking forward to better signal in the Jeep.

Spotify is a great alternative. I like having Stern, so I keep it for that. But I can't figure out why Stern's audio quality was so much better on Ford Sync.

But all it takes is an artist station for Nirvana and you ready have Lithium.

There is also the streaming app for Sirius. But the android auto is so bleh outside of voice.

I’ve had issues with SiriusXM radio signal cutting out every since I purchased vehicle. Service Technicians have checked it out and finally replaced the satellite radio…this did not fix the problem. Back on the phone with dealership to have them replace the antenna receiver and see if that corrects the problem.
I can be sitting in driveway or on highway, free of any type of obstructions and still the same issue…can’t enjoy the service due to lost signal.
I’m told there has been a huge issue with manufacturer of these radios which is leading to a change.

Ever since I’ve owned vehicles with satellite radio, they cut out when around tall buildings or tall trees or the garage. Just the way it works. Satellite in my Jeep sounds exactly the same as my F250 previously. And the same as the wife’s Honda Accord. And the same as the daughters Honda Pilot…😄 I don’t know where you guys/gals get this stuff.
