Lots of threads on this. Let’s just say your gonna be w out your Jeep for some time
To clarify, are you currently working with a dealer toward repairs? If so and you need an added layer of assistance, please feel free to reach out in private message.Hi there. New to the site and Jeep ownership. We just purchased a 2021 4Xe Sahara in billet grey. We have roughly 2,300 miles on this new purchase, and today 9-24-2021, we received an error message to service hybrid electrical vehicle system. During the purchase of the vehicle at lithia dodge/Jeep in Portland, Or. the sales manager walked up and said they had already taken care of the recall for the high voltage cable. I was wondering if this is related, or something different? I’m seeing a few threads that are concerning, but like I had stated, the dealership caught the recall and took care of it. I’ve already looked at the fuses, and they all seem in place and tight. Just wondering who else has had this error. Thank you. View attachment 2273
I have an appointment with Lithia Jeep/Dodge in Portland, Or. on October 25th, which was the earliest I could get in. Thank you for responding. I hope to have the issue resolved as soon as possible. We love our new Jeep. It’s certainly beautiful. To clarify, are you currently working with a dealer toward repairs? Ok, thank you. I’ll definitely call customer service at Jeep and get something started. I’ll take the Jeep back either tomorrow or Saturday and explain it all out that this is a safety issue. Thank you again.October 25th? Seriously....
You take that Jeep over there and shove it down their throats.
Then you call Jeep customer service and open a case with them. They will prioritize and work with the service manager at the dealer.
And you demand a rental car. That is a charging malfunction and could be a safety concern. I had the same issue and my
darn high power wire leading to the PIM melted. Lucky it wasnt a fire.
Even if they deny to look at it you drop it off and get the repair order number and who your working with.Ok, thank you. I’ll definitely call customer service at Jeep and get something started. That’s eventually how I got my case handled and buy back issued however the op needs to get the ball rolling first and get a case number and repair order written from the dealer. If they simply call customer service all they are going to say is take it to the dealer.I have posted in other threads a few names from the Jeep executive team and your can find more and or contact them on linked in. You will get much further escalating yourself than relying on the call center rep making $16/hour

Ok, so the dealership has had my Jeep for over a week now and said they have completed all the published testing procedures, but all the codes are still present, so they opened a STAR case with Jeep. Hopefully this gets figured out soonWe're happy to hear you were able to get an appointment set. If you would like assistance, just send us a private message closer to the date!
