My wife just purchased a GC 4XE and to be honest only got the 4XE because of the great rebate and offer from.the dealership, anyway she's had this issue a few times and dealer has no clue, it sits at idle for 5 or so minutes then it starts to shake pretty decently put it into drive and there is no power rps go up but the jeep wont move or bearly chugs along..also makes all sorts of horrible noises during all of this...anyone else experiencing anything like this?

It seems several people are experiencing problems right in the beginning of ownership but they seem to work themselves out over time. We didn't experience your types of issues but after getting home from the dealership (180 miles), ours had weird shift points which caused it not to have much power off the line and then a really hard shift and would take off. Once parked in the garage, it made the worst clunking noise as we sat idle in park. We took it in the next day and after a factory reset on the transmission, it seemed to be corrected but they said we would need to drive it normally for the next 300-500 miles so it could learn our driving style and adjust the transmission correctly. We've got 4500 miles on it now and everything has run pretty smooth since the first week of problems. You might try to get it in and see if there is something they can do to reset everything in hopes of a fresh start while it learns your style of driving.

It was at the dealership while we were on vacation a power plug was broke and it was replaced truck ran great for 3 hours and now it's doing the same thing again..wife thought she was going to be stranded, dealership is scratching their head..

We are picking it back up today the dealership did 3 updates and reprogrammed the transmission to see of it resolves the problem will keep you updated
