After my vehicle has been at the dealership since the end of September, I received an email this morning telling me that the recall has been released on my vehicle because they did a software update. I admit that I’m a bit wary that the software update is truly fixing the issue with the battery. The recall is still showing on my VIN, and I know in some cases they are supposed to change the battery, but the dealership did not change my battery. What are y’all‘s thoughts on this? Do you think that the software update is really fixing the vehicles? Has anyone already had the software update done?
