Again, no manufacturer will make anything easy. None are out to see you like them or are happy with their brand.

FCA or Stellantis... whatever! They have no interest in your feelings or otherwise.

These assholes are here for 1 reason. Make the stockholders money. That's it, the fact that they produce vehicles that people want means they are successful assholes that understand their market.

The sooner you realize that they don't care about you or me the better off you will be.

Jeep spends millions on marketing and so called "customer support" to raise brand awareness and better understand the consumer. That's it!

Don't expect shit from them. Lawyer up and walk.
Making money isn't a bad thing. The engineers, designers and factory workers all need to have shelter, pay college loans, and feed their families.

May investors are teachers, firefighters, average people, etc. putting money into their retirement savings.

I will say, publicly traded companies have a tough job, dealing with fickle short term investors that are always chasing quarterly profits. When you get management focused on pleasing those types is when problems happen.

Problem is the management of this site is lacking possibly from oversight by having only an admin (maybe run by a few people or script) and no group of moderators assigned? Even the other site same company VerticalScope owns, WF (wranglerforums.com) have a number of active moderators I’m assuming are all volunteers. I’ve only seen admin start threads of welcoming members and of data collection related—is that their other means of revenue, selling our volunteered and involuntarily given information to marketing firms?

The company is valued so highly it even made its recent IPO debut $FORA on the TSX. Maybe too busy to put much care into maintaining one of their newer babies, the 4xeforums.

They should consider asking a few mods from WF to help manage this site since it doesn’t seem to be a thing for mods to get paid....

I have to agree on better moderation of this site and a dedicated section for problems. Some people put the same issue they are having on multiple pages and or threads. It’s completely gummed up with disgruntled new Jeep owners.
I’ve been very sympathetic with others having problems. I don’t wish that on anyone. But a lot of this whining and crying over and over on every thread is ridiculous. Put it all in one place so people can go to that page and find similar experiences and outcomes.
I don’t want all my new alerts to be “at Jeep Cares”… And seriously, on any given day or night, those are 1/3 of my new alerts.
I mean couldn’t one just messaged them directly without starting a new thread or gumming up others??
100% agree, I wouldn't wish the issues some are having on anyone but it is annoying to see some people start a new thread and then post their story on every other problem thread. And it you need help from Jeep, coming to a forum and posting at someone who job it is to manage a message board is probably the least effective thing you can do. No offense to Jeep Cares but you need to either get in touch with the FCA exec team or hire an attorney.

I think you’re right - I’m not sure an active moderator even exists. The board is large enough that we now need one.

I don't think any Jeep owner that's experiencing issues is disagreeing with a dedicated section for problems. That would be great.

For everybody here saying this isn't the place to post problems/issues you've experienced with Jeep, I hate to break it to you but that's exactly what this forum is for, among other things. This is the actual description that the website gives on their homepage: 4xeForums.com - News, Reviews and Pricing on the new Jeep Wrangler 4xe.

Perhaps this isn't the type of review that you want to read about over and over, but the fact is these are legitimate REVIEWS from Jeep owners.

Not only am I reviewing the 2021 Jeep 4xe, but I'm reviewing the company's Roadside Assistance, FCA, and their willingness to stand behind their product. If you came here to just clap cheeks over the greatness of your Jeeps with other Jeep owners who don't have issues, go for it. A lot of you are saying you're tired of hearing Jeep owners cry over their lemons...are you serious? Who wouldn't be upset if they spent $50-60k on a brand new vehicle and days after purchasing it, it broke down over and over and over, and the company that manufactured the product refused to replace it or let you return it? We're not talking about a Made in China DVD player we bought off Amazon. We're talking about something that our wives drive, our kids ride in, something we depend on to get to work and return home safely and reliably. Some of your responses make me sick. And guess what? You sound like a bunch of 16 year old trolls who took their dad's Jeep out once. Talk about a bunch of whiney, obnoxious cry babies.

I agree that this is an appropriate place for those having issues to discuss in forum, albeit moderation could be better. It’s just not why I’m here personally. I came here to geek out over my Jeep. This might not be the right spot for me to do that, is all I’m saying. I do feel for your situation, wish you all the best, and hope you’re able to enjoy your 4xe soon.

Why would I self service my 2021 Jeep when it could void the warranty? And why would the service technicians replace the ABS module if there wasn't an issue? Sounds like you have an IQ of 70 and are looking for a reason to brag about your handy man skills.

And there is a brake light on the dash buddy....I'm not talking about the brake lights in the back of the Jeep smh.
Did you check to make sure the parking brake isn't on?

Can you explain why/how it happened then? Because the Jeep technicians and a Jeep engineer that are working on my Jeep still don't know why it happened.
I'm sure there are multiple things going on with others but I was overriding the adaptive cruise control system when it was confused about a car in front of me in a different lane. I popped the throttle two times to nudge it back from slowing down. At that point the transmission control unit detected something out of spec and shut the engine off (ECU).

  1. The Adaptive Cruise Control is mostly good but can get wonky. However, I should be able to override the system without issue the above issue.
  2. All Jeeps seem to have this aggressive failsafe/limp mode, including standard ICE jeeps. I think it should be a little smarter and not shutdown so fast.
  3. The last error displayed on my screen was the charging system error. I don't think there was a charging system error. That was likely software reacting to the ECU shutdown. I think this is getting people confused by thinking its something with the HVB charging system.
It may not even be the adaptive cruise control directly. I have noticed a number of people having an incident on the highway and/or in busy traffic. It could just be some kind of software issue between the transmission and engine that is encountered in those conditions.

Anybody who bought a Jeep Wrangler for safety and reliability with regards to their family being in it or driving it?? You should have done better research on vehicles with the best records on reliability. Jeep is literally the worst!
I researched it, my wife warned me, I said F it! I want a Jeep anyway. I’ll deal with the hassles and it will be my own fault. You gotta just own that stupidity.

What? Quit being a troll. Jeep is known for their reliability. And as far as safety goes...

According to the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), the 2021 Jeep Wrangler earned a 'Good' rating in its moderate overlap front and side crashworthiness tests. It also earned a 'Good' rating for its roof strength, head restraints, and seats.
