I have the Mopar ones and the lettering on mine is black instead of red. I’ve not been able to figure out why some people have red letters and some have black, because it appears there is only one part number for them. I ordered mine through mopar’s website. The quality is excellent and I’m a big fan of them.

I’ve not been a fan of the WT ones in prior vehicles. They’ve always felt too slick when wet.

The red lettering I think does look nice but I'm sure with time
the red will begin to fade.

They all have their pros/cons, but we went with Tuxmats and really like how they look and cover.

 

I'll second the Tuxmats. All-weather Mats should do the same thing, regardless of the brand, but it comes down to coverage, looks and personal preference. I am very happy with how much the Tuxmats were able to cover, compared to other mats I looked at. But what sold me was that they don't look like typical All-Weather Mats. Some people like that thick rubber look, but I wanted something that protected like thick rubber, but didn't look like thick rubber. These look classy and they protect.
I think the only downside I found was that they go in and out of stock regularly and you need to get on a list so they can email you when they come in if they happen to be out of stock when you look.

 

I really like the Mopar ones we have just because of the design on them. It may be something you don't care about or even dislike, but I think it looks pretty cool, especially when others get in. Completely aesthetic reason though... Also, don't know much about Weathertech.

This thread has all the info you need for the lettering info for red and black for the all mopar mats. I personally don’t like it as much as they get dirty very easily. I don’t see the red lettering fading due to the quality of the mats. They are also a bit overpriced. When they are clean, they look great, but one step on them and they get dirty easily (similar to being ashy lol).

 

Agree with the mopar mats looking ashy! Before these I had some off brand mats from Amazon and those turned white from road salt. So ultimately I guess most mats start to look bad once the shoes and dirt hit them

 

I have Weathertech in all 3 of our Jeeps and love them. I am usually not a fan of WT as I have had them in other vehicles with bad experiences. I usually run Husky Liners, but they didn't have any for the 4xe. I am very pleased with the WT in the Jeeps though. They are a lil slicker when they are wet, but it's not too bad to me.

 

I went with Husky Liners. Have been using them for years in my truck and they have held up really well. They finally released the 4xe rear liners a few weeks ago (which is what I have been waiting for since October )

I just looked on the Husky site and they only thing they show for the 4xe is the rear mat by itself. No cargo liner or front mats? Where have you guys found Husky Liners at? I'm just curious, not gonna change them at this point but would like to know.

 

Fronts are the same for all engines. No cargo mat listed yet for 4XE.

 

I normally run weathertech in my vehicles but they don’t have an offering for the 4xe so off to Amazon for alternatives. The below is what I settled on and I am very pleased. Perfect fit, not too slick and just enough lip to give moisture protection.

That's the set I was going to get.

I'm really torn between the WT and set with the Jeep red lettering.
I was at the dealership this morning and parts guy showed me the Jeep mat.
It did look really nice.
Sorta felt flimsy but maybe it wasn't??

 

I have WT in my wife's and my daughter's 4xe. They fit perfectly. Even the cargo liners.

 

I went with the WT because in the front set, they go up the console side a bit farther than the mopar. I end up tracking a lot of mud around, so that was my main decision point.

 

After a lot of research I went with Tuxmat. A bit expensive, but worth every penny.

Ooo I like the modern look of those

 

The Mopar mats, i think, have a hole that aligns with the drain plugs so if the drain plugs are removed water, melting snow, etc. can run out.

I really really wanted to the Jeep with red lettering but WT won me out.
