I also suffered from massive clunk. Took 55 days to get parts and repairs. Could barely go over 20 without the clunk bang being so disruptive no one wants to be in the car with me.
Changed seat bar end, it did help, but I'm afraid the damage is fine to the control arms already.
Had no contact from Jeep service for 37 days waiting for parts while the car was parked. No returned calls. Opened case with Wave with repurchase request. 12 days nothing. Started calling and they said the dealer could not get parts to complete repair.
They were supposed to call me on Friday but didn't. I'll call in next week. They are very stressed over there. They kept putting words in my mouth trying to get me to say in requesting Arbitration, when all I asked for was for them to read my letter. They kept saying "what letter" and I'm like "the letter which opened this case" then they kept saying they aren't lawyers and can't really about stuff with me, when all I asked was if they read my letter or not.
I'm curious, I feel like this should only effect trailhawks/sway bar disconnect. But if the Overland has a fixed sway bar, how would the suspension get damaged with normal driving other than the joint bushings being garage?
I drove a new overland, and it was tight and high end. Before service my trailhawk was like a 200k mile Hyundai Tucson.
I was given a loaner overland to compare while they finished the sway bar ends, and it wasn't as tight as the first overland I drove to investigate the difference of the suspension.
What a mess
I first noticed the clunk at 800miles
