Considering a lease on a 2024 JLU 4xe HA. I haven’t leased before and wanted to see thought process on this deal.

I have a trade in with about $8700 in equity as part of this trade. My initial thought was to purchase, but considering lease.

MF .00250, 58% residual, 12k miles/year $410-down, $410/month ($40157 buyout)

First step is separating the discount from the incentives so you can work out the quality of the deal. Whats your zip code?

Keep in mind that this isn't $410/mo with $410 due at signing. This is $410/mo with $9100 due at signing.

Also, rv for 36/12 through SFS for an HA is 57%, not 58%.

Thanks for the info.
Yea I have the $1000 tdm incentive included from building the jeep on the website.

I still plan to push for more. How much further do you think I could go? They do have a few on the lot. They made it sound like they were passing along their dealership incentives to me.

Do you think there will be more incentives for Memorial Day?

Thanks for all the help here @Clutch Auto Deals!

Any dealers you aware of that I could reference or get a competing quote?

Are there any risks I should consider if I end up leasing instead of buying? For example: I’ve seen a lot of people mention to not put any money down on a lease.

Any reason to avoid SFS or look for specific contract language?

The big risk with putting a large amount down (be it cash or trade equity) is if the vehicle is totalled in the short term, you're likely to not see any of it back. Basically if it's totalled, you walk away from the lease payments, regardless of if you came $0 out of pocket or $10k out of pocket. You would need to balance that risk with the extra rent charge(interest) you would pay by not putting the extra money down.

Sfs is totally reasonable to use. Much better than ally or usbank.
