So if they determine you need a new battery, do they try to keep the Jeep or can you drive it until they get you a battery? Our Jeep is our only vehicle right now and I don't want to have to fight the dealer/Jeep on a loaner or rental
I had a loaner from when I first dropped it off, and I still have it, and they haven't asked for it back. Fingers crossed. Because of the P0BBD Code, I kind fi expected this, and I wouldn't have left the car unless they gave me a loaner.

Dropped off my 2021 4Xe JLUR for 95B update on Tuesday this week. I was expecting to pick it up yesterday (Wednesday). The Service Advisor informed me that my 4Xe failed the first drive test, and Stellantis requires up to three drive cycles to verify the failed status. They were charging it up and getting ready for drive test #2 when I left the Dealer yesterday. The Service Advisor indicated that their Service Dept had already performed several 4Xe 95B recalls, and mine was the first"fail"...

Retrieved mine yesterday and it passed, they put 10 miles on it, I turned it in with 12% and after service performed it returned in at 63% so seems they went thru all the steps, just in time for another January and February of burning dino before getting back to all E.

I called my dealership and they told me sometime in 1st qtr
The GC fix was scheduled to come out Jan 4, so it would have been 1st quarter. It was released about 2 hours ago though, so it is now available.

Yes, I charged it to 75% at home then used e-save to get it to the dealer about 20 mi. away. I think it might have ticked up to 76% when I pulled into their service center.
Mine is in now for this. The service tech asked if I would charge it before I brought it in as that would make the work faster.

that will help them alot with the test requirement at 75%, but they dont wanna put that in writing because they told everyone not to charge. Imagine if by chance someone was doing a dealership courtesy charge and it actually had a fault in your garage ?

Thats exactly why I won't be charging it for them when I take mine in.

for those in southern Utah, and probably to no surprise... the stephen wade dealership isn't doing the drive cycle with the 95B recall. the work order states "performed recall" and 1.2 hours total of software updates (AHCP, IDCM, PCM, TCM), but no miles and only 2% of the hv battery was used between when I picked up and dropped off.

I asked them specifically not to do the 95B because I knew it required a full day at least and wasn't go to work for me at the time. they also didn't tell me they completed the 95B when I picked up, and they didn't have the paperwork ready as they were closing up, so they mailed it to me later. debating bringing back to them to complete drive cycle or to another dealership (next closest is 2 hours away...) to do it correctly.

anyone have luck with the correct recall procedure being done at a Vegas service center?

Basically your regular driving will do the drive cycle.

I may be off the mark here, but it seems to me that it can't be passing the safety recall protocol testing if they are not doing the driving portion of the procedure. This would make the dealer liable if at some point your battery was to catch fire. A good lawyer would eat them alive. Jeep created a specific procedure that I would assume would have to be approved by the NTSB. They are the ones requiring Stellantis to issue the recall in the first place. Maybe some of you that believe the driving portion of the test was not performed should contact the NTSB and report this and give them the dealership name.

You are correct. The drive cycle must be done for the test to pass.

I know it involves a hotspot carried on the drive, linked up to Stellantis uploading data, and part of procedure is up to temp coolant and a 75% charge, with speed up and coast downs from 35/45/50 mph, and there is probably more to it, and Stellantis sends a signal down that data is uploaded and test is complete.

Can understand not wanting to "precharge" for the test due to safety concerns, but only going to end up costing you time, they aren't going to care.
I can live with that. I'm 10 minutes from my dealership, they give us rides home via Alto, and have another car I can drive. I also want to add as many days in the shop as possible as it helps get me closer to an actionable lemon law claim.
