I use the Garmin DashCam Mini2. Picked it up on Amazon.com. If you go with this model, I suggest you also purchase the Polarized Lens. That lens will reduce glare on captured daytime video without negatively impacting nighttime video quality.

 

which option did you use to hardwire it?

 

I’ve got the Garmin Mini2 in the front and one in the rear. I don’t have them set to work when the Jeep is parked but I know you can. I like them and it was a pretty easy installation.

 

How did you install the rear dashcam? How was the camera aimed to view through the rear window?

I have Blackvue 900-2s in my cars, they work OK and the 4k video is decent. Not sure I would recommend as they are pretty pricey for what they are and connecting by Wifi to review video sometimes is a PITA.

 

I use the Rexing V1, sits right in front of my rear view mirror and barely noticeable outside. Great 4k picture quality

Did you hardwire it? I don't see the cable. I am thinking about installing a front dash cam but not quite sure how to hide the cable (not hardwiring).

I attached the rear cam to the further roll bar and no matter the technique it is not sticking. Has anyone seen a bracket they sell as a solution?

I have 2 different models of the Mercylion dashcams, one in my 4xe, one in my GMC. These are incredibly helpful in case of an accident, as it can provide irrefutable evidence of what happened.
The GPS allows me to track my speed and location, while the Wi-Fi lets me easily transfer footage to my phone or computer.
