Was the feds better?

I read the information from my utility company wrong. They offer up to $750 on a WiFi enabled level 2 charging station and 30% of the installation cost as a federal tax credit (wording makes it seem like it’s in addition but it’s not). 🤔 confusing but I’ll leave it to the accountant.

I just got 2 bids. One is $1500 the other is $1750. The run is about 50 feet, 3 conductor cable, NEMA 14-50 outlet. Guess I’ll be buying the Juicebox 40 next. My utility company has a rebate up to $750 for a WiFi enabled charger so that’s sweet. They also offer a rebate on the installation but I’ll have to see which is better theirs or the tax credit from the feds.
