Hello, have seen others here with transmission problems with their 4xe. Looking for some feedback if possible. 2023 Rubicon 4xe, started surging while slowing down, shaking and knocking at idle. Electric motor actually shut down while driving on the road even though it was fully charged. Vehicle has been in the dealership for over a month. Jeep’s STAR center keeps having the dealership run test, replace parts and more test. Evidently they do not know what is wrong with it. Called Customer Care and filed a case with them. Filed for a buy back since they can’t fix it. After several complaints was advised that they were replacing the transmission. Find out the transmission is coming from Fred Jones, which means remanufactured. Not happy, specially since the case manager told me it was a new transmission from a dealer named Fred Jones, can’t find that dealer, but I did sell Fred Jones reman motors and transmissions while working at a Ford dealership. Now they are going to put a remanufactured transmission in a 6 moth old vehicle with less than 2500 miles. All I hear from Customer Care is we understand your concerns, but that seems to be lip service, and can’t get a supervisor. Any similar issues or experiences out there. Any advice or contact info would be appreciated.
